ParticipantCher Antoine,
Sorry for the late reply, I had a very busy weekend and beginning of the week.
Thanks so much for your explanations! They are great, very clear. I really appreciate your taking the time to answer my questions.
Yes, I work in Paris:) 14e (mon cabinet) and Levallois (I work in a cancer center), and 13e (where I actually live:) ).
I’d love to connect with you! Perhaps you already had a chat with Amandine? It’s so nice to be in touch with fellow practitioners with common interests:)All the best to you,
Alina

ParticipantHello Antoine,
It does help!
Thank you for taking the time to answer, I really appreciate it. Your message was quite comforting:)
I see your reasoning behind most of the points. Do you use LU 5 bc it has some specific function related to the descension of qi?
Also Lu 1, 7, 8 for the diffusion, is it bc of the point names or specific functions?
I’ve trained in France in an acupuncture lineage transmitted by Charles Laville Merry, and we don’t really use these words:) (diffusion, rectification, invigoration, etc) which is why I’m a bit at a loss. I need to understand the reasoning behind the points, what theory is one referring to and what are we trying to do.
Do you know whether TCM or Classical Acupuncture associates these functions to specific points? is it something one just learns as such? or can one infer these functions?Sorry for being a nuisance 🙂
