KeymasterHi Armin,
We should make ice a subject of a chat. What a doozy it is! Patients report relief while using ice simply because it slows the qi down and compresses wei qi at the injury site. But those two factors are the problem going forward. In order to heal, wei qi must move. So the treatments are always about moving qi, not slowing it down. You could use a ditdat liniment which is warming or a sinew treatment to clear the throbbing inflammation that is caused when ice has trapped the natural healing heat of moving wei qi. I hope you’re well, Armin.

KeymasterHello Antoine,
Thanks for being with us.
Remember to diagnose using movement assessment! This is the most important aspect of sinew treatments. So if the patient with the L4 herniation reports that the most difficult movement is putting his ankle up on the opposite thigh, then yes, KI sinew is your sinew. Note that you’ll use GV-4 anyway. But L4 could be many sinews: ST, BL, KI. If you decide to use KI and BL, be sure to treat KI sinew first because it is more interior. All the best in your treatment.xAnn

KeymasterAntoine,
Will you be listening to the live chat today? If so I’ll answer it there. If not, I’ll answer it here. It’s long answer in writing. Let me know! (Where are you from? I’d love to know!)
Thanks for being here

KeymasterHello Amy,
Lots of questions there.
Answering out of order, no, it doesn’t matter if you only get a tiny amount of blood. This is quantum medicine, not measurable medicine and so what we’re looking for is a release of qi from the eying level to thee wei level. The conduit is blood, and even a speck will suffice.Emptied luo blood can be lighter because the pathology is no longer flooding the luo vessel. It has moved to the interior.
Yes the arm luos tend to be less blue or dark than the leg luos, although the PC luo does come up blue quite often.
4. Removal of the mast cell tumors is removal of a latency action and the channel will simply build another one to replace it. Bleeding the luo point begins the removal of the pathology to which the tumors are responding and actually treats the root inflammation. But the dog would need a lifestyle change (more relaxed environment or usually much better food so that there is less inflammation in response to that trigger. It all boils down to EPFs and IPFs.
5. For organ issues use emptied luo treatments. Sometimes there are other S&S that are more external because the luo is neither full nor emptied, but in between.
I love your story about your treatments, Amy.
Thanks for being here. xoAnn

KeymasterYou’re welcome, Johannah.

KeymasterHi Johannah,
Luo channels are diagnosed by looking and so you could say that they have a place in any pathology if they are present. If you see disease or imbalance as always having an emotional component, you could go there at any time. However, the luos do not reach the joints at all. Only the divergents will do that, and to a lesser degree, the 8X. The reason the luos will produce an effect on the joints is that they release inflammation (heat) from the source (bone level) as they create an emotional release and that relief makes everything more tolerable and also more HANDLEABLE. They are no where near as powerful in treating inflammation in the joints as the divergents but they would get you there eventually, through accessing the very origin of the resistance to full articulation in life.

KeymasterHi Armin,
Great question. Immediately insert the jing well point of the channel you forgot (Channel A) but keep going with the channel you’re working on (Channel B) and finish that. Then go to the channel you forgot (Channel A) and do that in its entirety. Then go back to the channel you were working on when you realized you’d made an error (Channel B) and check that nothing refered to that channel from the more interior channel (Channel A): just a quick palpation down that channel (Channel B) will show you if anything popped up there. Clear that (Channel B) and make sure the jing well is in on that channel (Channel B). Then go to Channel C if there is one. This has been tricky to answer so do let me know if it’s not clear.

KeymasterHello All,
This is like a dream come true. That the chat amongst everyone is at this level. I’m so moved. That was the idea – to raise the chat online to this.
Thank you for being here.
Much love,

KeymasterArmin,
To increase his rate of healing you might consider asking him what the most difficult movement is. You mention sitting but determine whether it’s the actual sitting, or whether it’s the action of rising after sitting for a while. The two different answers beg two different treatments. If it’s rising, then yes, BL sinew but if it’s the act of sitting still, you’re looking at LR sinew. If you’re using the GB sinew, be sure to palpate the entire channel! I hope this helps and welcome to the forum, Armin!
