Dancing Crane Acupuncture with Athira Marta Lukaszewicz
Description
Athira’s interest in the channels of the human body first began 20 years ago through feelings evoked in the practice of Vedic meditation and Hatha Yoga. Since 2017, Athira has been practising the art of Chinese pulse and tongue diagnosis and activating patients’ channels with Tui Na (Chinese remedial massage), Gua Sha, Cupping and Acupressure therapy.
This evolved into the study of both Chinese medicine and Western medicine theory through a Bachelor of Health Science (Acu) in Adelaide, Australia. Athira began working as a licensed acupuncturist in 2021.
In 2024, Athira completed an intensive mentorship program with Master of Classical Chinese Medicine, Ann Cecil Sterman. Since this time Athira has been practising exclusively in the classical acupuncture style utilising the complete set of 66 acupuncture channels in the body.
Athira is passionate about guiding people towards overcoming all types of health challenges from musculoskeletal conditions, all kinds of internal medicine conditions through to neurological and psycho-emotional conditions always with a strong focus on the digestive function’s role creating and maintaining harmony within the body.
With a background in Ayurvedic and Yogic practices, Athira maintains a passion for remedial dietary therapy from an East Asian Perspective as a core aspect of working with patients using acupuncture, Chinese herbal formula and diet therapy.
For those not living in South Australia, Athira also offers remote channel healing sessions via video-call anywhere in the world.
