I’m Elana Kogan, the Certified Consulting Hypnotist behind Wellness Through Hypnosis. Though my first passion was in building stronger and healthier communities, I have always been interested in wellness. One day I became aware of a concept that would pave the way for wellness to become much more than an interest in my life.

A trusted family friend, who happened to be a physician, introduced me to the concept of hypnosis and what it could do for people in a therapeutic way. After my initial skepticism, it sounded intriguing, so I looked into it. Before I knew it, I was completely fascinated and dove in head first.

When I experienced the transformative powers of hypnosis myself, I knew this was something incredible that I wanted to share with others.

Now I combine my passion for promoting good health for all with the amazing power of the mind in Wellness Through Hypnosis. But that’s only the first half of how I can help you on your wellness journey.

More recently, world-renowned acupuncturist Ann Cecil Sterman introduced me to Classical Chinese Medicine. Its effectiveness astonished me. I enrolled in her training and mentorship intensive and learned how to apply focused intent on specific channels to treat all sorts of physical and emotional challenges.

Practicing both hypnosis and energy work, I now work with clients on a variety of issues such as weight control, stress reduction, mindset, and trauma release.  My greatest reward is helping people to overcome long-standing personal challenges and to take control of their health and well-being.

I am certified in hypnosis through the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH) and am a graduate of Ann Cecil Sterman’s Classical Chinese Medicine Training and Mentorship program. (For more information about Ann and her training, visit https://anncecilsterman.com/) 

I hold a Bachelor's degree from Yale University and a Master's in Education from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education.
