When I began my Chinese Medicine education, I knew very little about alternatives to the western medicine paradigm. What I did know, from years of owning a fitness studio, was that the movement of energy, in any capacity, was necessary to maintain a healthy and happy life. Years later, I am convinced the path to improving our collective health is to focus on those days when we feel slightly off – a little more tired than normal, an increase of stress or anxiety, a nagging neck cramp, or feeling a little moody. Classical Chinese medicine is a powerful tool to remind our bodies how to recalibrate when we get knocked out of balance. More powerfully, classical Chinese medicine assists in the flow of life's path to address chronic issues. The human spirit has infinite capacity for wellness, and this medicine reminds us how to access that extraordinary gift.
