ParticipantHello everyone:-)
I have a new patient who is 35 years old and is weighing 140 Kg.
she started hed gaining weight at the age of 10. her mother always had a lot of criticism for her weight “it seems that as long that I will be fat, she won’t be able to really love me”her period was never stable, lately, it comes once in 4 months, and is very strong (last time she arrived hospital because the bleeding was so strong). The last period was 7 months ago.
polycystic ovaries (as I understood, only by its shape and not as the “endocrine problem”)
she is having “spotting” for the last month and feeling in her womb of something the moves, but her period doesn’t come.extra symptoms:
* one CM square of a BCC (basal cell carcinoma) in GB4, that she took off a few days ago
* cyst in her gums
* reflux and heartburnHistory:
she is having one older brother who was around 10 when she was born in Russia. her pregnancy was unwanted and her parents were separating during her first year of age.
when she was 6, the mother moved with them to Israel, she had to be separated from her grandmother, which she was having a strong connection with, until she (after one year), came to Israel too.
she saw her father after 3 years from coming to Israel. then he came too.At the age of 13, her father gut married, and she remembers that she was jealous in his kids because he had in that time a lot of money and never had supported them in any financial way.
the connection with her father is emotionally strong for her, she felt he was there in her childhood, although practically she hardly saw him a few times a year.
she is very open and aware and did a lot of internal emotional work with herself.
she is happily married and works as a good therapist.her pulses are very deep.
I feel a pulse only (!) in 15-14 beans. (except once I have felt a Chong pulse- pushing me up to the ying level).this is reasonable to me because it seems that the problem is not something that is on the surface, it is very deep inside of her.
I have tried a few directions-
* draining dai mai
* yin Qiao
*Chong 1
* cv1each time the deep pulses sound in a little different place, so I tried to follow that when choosing which treatment to do.
I did each of them for 1 treatment, but nothing seems to change her pulses, or “open” them, and also I saw no other change.
I will be happy for you enlightenment about this case:-)
Thank you

KeymasterHi Tal, Your choice of 8 extra channels is clear. Chong and Ren make perfect sense. I do think that more time is needed to work on them than just one treatment. It also might be that you need to actually start with Yin Wei Mai.
Yin wei mai function is to bring the patient to the present moment. If she is caught up in the past trauma it might be gentler to first start there, and only after to engage with the Ren and Chong. Yin Wei gather the Yin and bring them back to the Ren. -
