    Hello everyone,

I have a patient, 28, who has difficulty to make choice regarding her professional career. She is working in the financial, but she hates her job. She has to work for long hours and the income is not what she expected, especially as she has an international experience. She’s searching for something else but with the covid situation it had not been successful. Her issue lies in the fact that her mother gave her the opportunity to buy her estate agency at a reasonable price. She would have a better income, and better working conditions. But that means leaving all her efforts in her financial career behind her, and she didn’t even know if she’ll envoy working in the agency. Thus the impossibility to make a choice. I should mention that she originally studied finance to have a good income, and in the current situation it is not the case.
Do you have any recommendations to help her on the process of making a choice ?
    Thank you,
    Cheers,
    Antoine

    Hi Antoine,

You could consider Yin Weimai or the second trajectory of Chongmai to help the patient connect with her gut feeling. To connect to her inner truth if the issue is somehow vocational (which sounds like it might be so). It could be that she ends up deciding to find a job that helps her fulfill her purpose in life, and that could even lead her to disregard both options and ultimately consider a job re-orientation. If the choice was more or less equally swinging between two options addressing the Gall Bladder might help her to envision the best choice for her, so she could connect to the courage to make a decision to move either in one direction or the other.

I hope this can help with your patient,

    Monica

    Hello Monica,

Thank you for your answer, it makes sense using both 8X. I didn’t think about the connection with the gut feeling related to the second trajectory of Chong, definitely something to consider from now on!
I feel that the Yin Wei will be more appropriate for her. She also suffers from insomnia regularly, and psoriasis. I guess by nourishing the Heart it will be beneficial on these issues as well.
Which points would you advice for helping to clarify a choice ?

    Thank you again,
    Antoine

    Hi Antoine,

These would be some of my favourites that can be used in 3 different contexts (Luo, Divergent or 8X).

GB37 光明 guāng míng, Illuminating Brightness, can help in decision-making when a choice is at stake and where anger or frustration may be involved. Excess Wood may be the image of wood on fire generating smoke that blurs the visual field. As a Luo point it can help dispel the anger that generates smoke in order to see the options more clearly.

GB1 瞳子髎 tóng zi liáo, Hole in the Bone of the Virgin Child, refers to the capacity to see with a child’s eyes, innocence, forgetting about previous experiences in order to experience the world in a different way, inviting to contemplate different options free from the burden of conditioning.

GB13 本神 běn shén, Root of the Shen, helps to settle fright or undecisiveness that may disturb the Shen. When the Shen is calm is like reflecting one’s image in calm water. In that reflection the next step for one to take may become cristal-clear.

    Hi Monica,

Thanks for your detailed answer, the explanation regarding the symbolism of each points brings the use of it to another level.
Would you use each of these points according to their particular context or would you needle them together ? Let’s say if you use Guang Ming, do bleed it or needle ? On his own or in combination with Tong Zi Liao and/or Ben Shen ?

    Thank you again,
    Antoine

    Hi Antoine,

I personally would not treat them all but rather choose one of them to fine-tune or underline whatever the intention of the treatment may be using the technique that best serves that purpose.

    Best wishes 🙂

    Hi Monica,

Thanks for the precision. The last time I saw the patient I worked on the Luo channels, and bled Guang Ming and others luo points. I already did some work on them before, but las time with a more specific intention. And a funny thing happened. She took the decision to go for her mother’s company, to give it a try. In the next few days following the decision, she got 2 job offers in her field. She was quite surprised, and didn’t get why the offers come at this moment after she has taken this direction. But she’s going for what she has chosen. Life is quite mysterious sometimes 🙂

    Cheers,
    Antoine

    Hi Antoine,

Yeees!!! I’m glad for you and your patient. It’s often the case that when you help the person to unblock a channel, energy gets its free flow back inside and outside (outside as a reflection / projection / extension of what happens within), life unfolds and “funny things” happen. Life is a mystery, absolutely…and that’s the beauty of it, isn’t it? Us being such espectators of it all is one of the things that make our job so incredibly rewarding.

    Best,

    Monica

    Hi Monica,

It’s truly amazing to witness these changes. Practising the complementary channels really reveals how everything is connected. And it gives tremendous hope for the patient when considering the ripple effect between inside and outside !
Again thank you for your support Monica 🙂
    Cheers,
    Antoine
