COVID vaccine

Hello everyone. I was wondering if we could start the conversation on the COVID vaccine. It is so difficult to decide whether to get the vaccine or not. On the one hand, we are healthcare workers and in general, our patients are wanting to confirm that we have been vaccinated. Very notable people, including Anthony Fauci, immunologist, director of the U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and chief medical advisor to the president are really urging people to get vaccinated. On the other hand, we as classical acupuncturists are weary of toxins and energies that can go in deep into the jing and very possibly get trapped there for one or two jing cycles, later maybe showing up as cancer. Have you been vaccinated? Which vaccine did you get? Did you treat yourself afterwards? How did you treat yourself? The Pfizer vaccine is said to inject pathogenic cold into the injection site. It is possible to treat that Cold and expel it out of the body. With the Moderna vaccine, how is it best to protect your jing so the vaccine doesn’t affect your DNA or RNA in an adverse manner? Is the vaccine actually the true answer to our COVID worries? Shouldn’t we be addressing our own immune systems and proper circulation in our bodies so that we are better able to handle the virus and its new variants and all other viruses that will be coming our way (probably until we change climate warming and maybe even beyond that?).

My wife and I have been having the same discussions. Unfortunately, I don’t feel I know enough of the classical system to really add to this thread but I would LOVE to read a discussion on this or for Ann to maybe run a class on the theory of vaccines from different channel system perspectives…I am enjoying thinking it through myself but would love a more experienced and learned viewpoint!
I do believe that everything has a cost though and it would seem to me that vaccines give the body no alternative but to keep the injected information/pathogen latent thereby forcing the divergent (or perhaps the luos first as it is injected into the ying level?) channels to act.
