Hi All- I have a patient with Ehlers Danos which presents with hypermobility of joints, constipation, mucous stools, fibroids, bloatjng, irritability, one-sided migraines, photophobia, foggy thinking, anaemia. Her pulses are th
in, weak. She is on double cruches due to hip pain which results in pain in her wrists and thumbs.

She is a free spirit and was part of the travelling community in her youth but now has difficulty getting out which makes her feel very caged. She has been homeless and spent many a cold day busking in the rain (the best money comes in then!)

She’s a lovely person who I’m keen to help.

I’ve treated her in the past with TCM with positive results. From her perspective, it’s the only thing that helps. I’m new to classical so my head is still trying to get around everything. I’ve done sinew treatment for the hypermobility with some positive results.

ere is SO much wind (2 hand pulls). Do I keep doing sinews or should i be looking at 8 extra as this is a congenital issue?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

    Best wishes, Liz

I forgot to add… a lot of her pain is one sided. So as a chronic degenerative condition could divergent be considered? I know this is very basic… Being new to this, I’m over thinking everything and can justify anything and everything. Lol.

    Hi Liz,

Sinews would work for sure as you obviously have gotten the results but yes it does seem that you want to get some yuan level support behind the work you have done on the sinew level. Seems to be more of a divergent case with one sided joint pain or other issues. I guess her latency is spilling out of the hip joint, so that would be a great place to start. Gb/Lv divergent comes to mind, DSD to build mediumship so as to support the latency again.

Once the hip joint is doing better after a few sessions with divergents, then you could probably do some 8evs. Of course, strictly speaking, it’ll all depend on the pulses, but I am not the best with pulses myself and so as long as there is no sinew pulses you could do some 8ev’s. The Qiaos come to mind to support her stance.

    Hi Armin!

thanks for this- your comments are very helpful. I find it confusing when I’m seeing sinews, 8extra, and divergent possibilities all at once. Which, of course, means I need to up my pulse game and probably just breathe a bit (lol). I’m taking the Krakow pulse course in October (fingers crossed as far as the timing and the pandemic) so hopefully that will help clarify things a bit.

Thanks again for the feedback on this case. It’s very much appreciated.

    All the best,

    Liz
