    Hi!

I’m struggling to find an effective way to break up nodules during empty luo treatments. How much do you expect them to change during one treatment and how much discomfort does it cause the patient?

In Ann’s luo demo video she asks the patient about his experiences to help the emotional release of the spider veins, do you also do this to get more success with nodule release?

    Thanks!

    Hi Elizabeth,
In my limited experience I have found nodules shrink, soften and/Or flatten quite quickly with luo treatment. I usually bleed and moxa the luo point and other luo vessels along the channel, then surround needle the nodule and moxa the module. I leave the surround needles in for a while say 15minutes or so and then after removing, gua sha the primary channel the the nodule is on, in the direction back towards the luo point and then the blood regulating point.
If the person is finding it hard to let go of the emotions out of the constitution, you can moxa the yuan source point on the same side as the primary channel occurs in the pulse to help strengthen their will to release it.
I’ve found that the pain depends on the type of nodule. Ganglion can be more painful to surround needle than lipoma. In my experience they usually shrink a lot each treatment. If they dont it could be that I’m on the wrong luo channel or maybe I have to go deeper into the yuan level to reset a blueprint so as they are freed up to let the luo pathology go?
    Hope that helpful
