I trajectory pts list you write KI-16 then KI-27 (shu), but the image shows that it logically passes throught all the kidney shu pts and not just KI-27…

Which is right ? Are the part of KI divergent as well ?

Also, why are Bl-15 and Bl44 on trajectory ? What do they do in conjunction with the mrd ? I cannot find pts explanation that actually give a good reasons or purpose about this anywhere I have read.

Also, why are Huatuo T4 and up not included in trajectory even if if goes from Huatuo T5 to UB-10 ?

    1) Yes, the Kidney trajectory does cover all of the kidney points on the torso, not just the two points shown.

    2) It’s a way to establish a kidney/heart connection, to my knowledge. Although Ann usually actually needles the Huatou point at T5 as opposed to Bl 15 for this purpose.

    3) I think T4 Huatou is included looking at the diagram. It wraps around to connect with Jen 17 but then comes back to T5 and works its way up.

If you read description of trajectory in book, it says from Huatuo T5 to UB-15 to UB-44 back to UB-15 and up to UB-10.
Th line goes obvious throught either huatuo line or 1st UB chain upward, but none of the pts are mentionned as part of trajectory as detailed meticulously for lower part of mrd…

    Hi Frederic,

The Bladder Divergent channel features points along 大包 dà bāo, the Great Wrap, so points like Du10, BL15, BL44, GB22 oe Ren17 are particularly relevant. This is the Taiyang area that you are advised to Guasha prior to treating with needles in a Divergent scenario for a Bladder or Small Intestine treatemnt. Likewise 帶脈 dài mài, the Belt Channel features prominently in the Kidney Divergent channel. You can certainly use any point that is not on the trajectory as long as it is a point that resonates with the Yuan level or simply it resonates strongly with your intention (think about the name/s of the point, whether the point belongs to a group of points or trinity, different layers of meanings for the same point). Ultimately, cultivating your own points is essential in guiding your choice in point selection.

As to points featuring or not this or that trajectory, I would say the best way to find out is by testing it yourself and see what happens. I certainly use all Huatojiaji points along the spine regardless of them being in the trajectory since they resonate with the Yuan level (Huatojiaji pts – Jing, Inner BLadder Shu pts – Qi, Outer Bladder Shu pts – Shen).

    Thanks for the answers Monica,

I believe a lot rest in cultivation of intend and experimentation, but to guide both having the experimentation results from others helps to guide ones own, instead of repeating what has already been done…

    Cheers
