ParticipantHi Everyone,
I have a patient who has Rheumatoid Arthritis, Over The course of the last year with acupuncture and herbs we have managed to get her off a lot of the western meds she has been on such as prednisolone and we are currently working on reducing her methotrexate dose.
I have done a lot of 8 Extra work with her and Divergent work. But it o my just recently occurred to me- mainly because she had prominent lip vessels around Lu10 last time I saw her- to even think about luo treatment.
I have not done an in depth luo course yet- soon to do a weekend with Sean Tuten in November. Anyways it was quite astonishing! My patient and I watched as her very swollen wrist deflated in front of our eyes after bleeding Lu7 and one Luo vessel at Lu10. The pain also rapidly reduced and heaviness subsided. I can’t believe I’ve never thought to try Luo Treatment before! Should I use the Luo Treatment in random with Divergent? I have a feeling now that luo channels were treated in the classics for rheumatic condition…? Is this is thing?September 16, 2019 at 6:59 am #1361Ann Cecil-Sterman
KeymasterHi Johannah,
Luo channels are diagnosed by looking and so you could say that they have a place in any pathology if they are present. If you see disease or imbalance as always having an emotional component, you could go there at any time. However, the luos do not reach the joints at all. Only the divergents will do that, and to a lesser degree, the 8X. The reason the luos will produce an effect on the joints is that they release inflammation (heat) from the source (bone level) as they create an emotional release and that relief makes everything more tolerable and also more HANDLEABLE. They are no where near as powerful in treating inflammation in the joints as the divergents but they would get you there eventually, through accessing the very origin of the resistance to full articulation in life.

ParticipantAh yes that makes so much sense about how the luo treatment provided such an immediate relief. Sounds like I should continue with the DC and 8X treatments and add in luo treatments where appropriate.
Thanks so much Ann!September 23, 2019 at 11:33 am #1470Ann Cecil-Sterman
