Needle retention or not on confluent pts from Yin to Yang Sinew Treatments?

When you treat yin and yang channel for sinew Tx, do you put both confluent points before starting or just when you switch to yang do you add yang confluent? Also, do you remove Yin confluent when moving on to yang sinews ?
