Nomenclature

Dynamic pulse taking is a vast field which involves being sensitive to the way in which a pulse behaves under a moving finger.  Dynamic pulse taking reveals the interrelationship of the various organs in the entire pulse grid, that is, across the three levels of energetics in the pulses (the Wei, Ying and Yuan levels) in the cun, guan and chi positions.

Dynamic Pulses are pulses that require movement of the finger or fingers.  Dynamic pulses have two subsets: Probing Pulses and Directional Pulses.
